The Metro Building
Level inspired by Naughty Dog's The Last of Us - Blockout made as a form to test myself, studying level design for Stealth genre, using real-life references, as well as existing games aesthetics. For me this project represents a before and after in my style and methodology.

Thesis project made to earn the degree as Game Designer. I learnt a lot working on this; professional methodology, efficient iteration and scripting, and how to drive storytelling through blockouts.

This started as a class project, and was probably my first blockout on Unreal Engine. Years later I used this to practice rapid-blockout, I used concept art and real-life references, iterating and making changes based on what I've learned through the semesters.

Class project. I acted as Level Designer, obtained the First Prize in the Complete Game Category during the 2018 Academy of Art University Spring Show - during my role I had the chance of working with a 3D Modeler to level up the Level Design, and iterate as required throughout every step.

The Lunatic
Class project. My role as Game Designer was the initial blockout of the level, as well as the scripting for Dialogue Implementation and Cinematics (Creating IGCs and scripts for triggering) - I was out of my comfort zone as the implementation of in-game cinematics and dialogues on Unity was new to me, but I managed to find the best approach as I learnt new tricks.
