YES, THAT'S ME AFTER DIVING INTO MUD
My name is Alberto Guerra - I was born in Venezuela, where I spent part of my life until I decided to move to San Francisco, California to earn a degree as Game Developer.
After finishing my studies I'm looking for a first role in the areas I'm passionate about: Game & Level Design. Some facts:

-
I love running, I have been running for about 10 years now, I've done countless races and a few Half and Full-Marathons, including SF Marathon... I almost died, but got that medal!
-
I enjoy a good challenge and to find how to make entertaining situations even better, that's why I also love doing obstacle course races (Yes! Only reason to do something like that ->).
-
I also love exploring, go for hikes and discover new areas and places - I used to be a Tour Guide where I had the chance to explore California, Yosemite, and part of Nevada!
-
New restaurants and weird ice cream flavors were an usual go-to for me. You always find unique flavors inside hidden locals... Fun fact, I was a scooper for a year in San Francisco, one of the best experiences I've had!
Now, as Designer I'm constantly creating and coming up with ideas and concepts. I'm an avid gamer, always checking the new titles and trends, as well as some indies that look attractive to me. Some of my all-time favorite sagas are The Last of Us, Tomb Raider, God of War, Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi, Pokemon, Tony Hawk, and Jak (Just Jack, didn't have the change to play with Daxter!).
Back when I was a kid I was a fan of going to the movies, imagine how the game would be, and if it was fun in my head go straight to the store and get it; memorable one was Jumper, for some reason I loved the feeling of that Teleport mechanic. That shaped my approach as game developer, I'm passionate about storytelling and find inspiration from experiences, real situations and places, if I'm going for a hike for sure I'll go back home with a new idea to implement in my current project!

Now this is just a brief of me as a human and pieces that play an important role in who am I as a Developer and professional, feel free to take a look at my portfolio, and be a judge.
